Your Chronicle
A text-forward idle RPG whose routes, summons and layered resets gradually open a larger story.

Editorial review
A rough, fascinating text-RPG incremental that can become an obsession — after it survives its own tutorial and monetization.
What players love, what breaks the spell and who should actually play it.
Your Chronicle looks like columns of buttons and slowly reveals routes, summons, combat, story choices and prestige systems underneath them. Its strongest trick is making a reset feel like another pass through a narrative rather than only a multiplier. There is real discovery in choosing what to pursue, building a party and learning how seemingly separate resources unlock the next chapter.
There is also a lot of suffering between discoveries. Players praise the unusual story structure and balanced resets, then warn that blind progress can waste enormous amounts of time. The tutorial is thin, pacing is slow and ruby purchases are tied to quality-of-life upgrades that make the underlying friction easier to tolerate. Our recommendation is cautious but genuine. If text interfaces and opaque systems make you curious, this is an underrated rabbit hole. If they make you open a refund window, trust that instinct.
Poor onboarding, opaque progression and costly quality-of-life upgrades make experimentation harsher than it should be.
Patient players who enjoy text RPGs, route discovery and solving systems with community help.
You need strong signposting, quick early momentum or completely frictionless free-to-play design.
System analysis
What playing it actually asks of you
These notes describe the shape of the documented game systems. They avoid exact offline caps or controller claims that have not been directly reproduced.
Core loop
Choose actions in a text interface, recruit summons and accumulate resources that open new routes through the story and its progression systems.
Progression shape
Layered resets support a branching narrative. Mechanical growth and route discovery are intertwined rather than separated into campaign and endgame.
What happens when you return
Offline gains support the slow resource economy, while returns are most useful when a story requirement or new route becomes reachable.
Decision depth
Action order, summons and route choices reward experimentation; the sparse presentation exposes systems without explaining every dependency.
Best session pattern
A fit for patient players who enjoy reading, discovering requirements and treating the incremental loop as part of a longer story.
